You must pay any fines or penalties yourself. This includes parking fines, speeding tickets, or any other fines or penalties. You must deal with the organisation who issued the ticket yourself.

After you’ve changed your number plate, the DVLA will tell us. We’ll update our records. This can take a few weeks.
