We know it can be hard keeping track of your income and spending – so we’ve designed a handy Budgeting Tool to help you along the way. Using the tool will help you understand your financial situation, where you can make savings and what your disposable income is.

Internet and Mobile Banking
Internet and Mobile Banking can be handy for keeping track of your finances. You can view your account balances, make payments, transfer funds between accounts and more, giving you the freedom to manage your money while you’re on the go. If you do not currently use internet or mobile banking, why not contact your bank to see if they offer this facility?

Step 3: Get independent help and advice
You can also get free independent help and advice. Here are some of ways you can get this.

The Money Advice Service (MAS)
Set up by the UK government, the MAS offers free and impartial money advice. They can provide you with information and guidance to help you decide the best way to take things forward and keep your payments on track.

They can also suggest providers which you can use to receive debt management services from, or give you information about other ways you can keep on top of your payments.

StepChange Debt Charity is a registered charity offering free, confidential advice and support to anyone who is worried about debt.
