Despite healthy post-lockdown sales, it’s increasingly clear there will be no quick return to business as usual. In uncertain times, the ability to adapt and learn new skills has never been more vital for you, your customers and your business. With that in mind, we‘re here to help you refresh your industry knowledge, develop your professional skills and drive your future success.

Happy customers, thriving business, healthy you

Over the past few months, we’ve added new content to our LetsULearn online platform specifically aimed at helping you survive and thrive in a changing business environment:

  • Our Road to Recovery Resource Centre provides practical advice to help you operate efficiently in the new normal. Modules include remote communication, distance contracts, handling customer vulnerability and how to support your customers in making the right decisions. This module is kept under constant review and updated in light of any changes, and includes refreshers on the Consumer Rights Act and Our Regulated Processes 2020.
  • Our Living and Working in Challenging Times modules offer tips and ideas to build your resilience and support your team more effectively, so you can deliver at your best in difficult circumstances.

How dealers benefit from LetsULearn

Users of our Road to Recovery Learning Pathway rated it 4.7 out of 5, with many making it an integral part of their ongoing professional development.

Sappho Brammer, Management Consultant at Haywards Motor Group, explains how LetsULearn helped her get back into the swing of things after three months without seeing a customer: “It was important we were prepared when the doors reopened. For different financial situations as well as new industry demands. Many of our customers were on furlough, which could make them more vulnerable than ever in terms of their finances and wellbeing.”

Having access to guidance on handling vulnerability and supporting customers to make the right decisions meant Sappho felt confident in dealing with these situations.

“Working through the Black Horse LetsULearn programme is something I do regularly. It has helped me focus on business, retain customers and make sure staff are fully coached while complying with FCA regulations,” says Sappho. “It takes the odd hour a week to keep up to date. I highly recommend it.”

A useful feature of the LetsULearn platform is that it can provide reporting on time spent and learning completed on the system. This helps you keep track of your CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours and justify the time you spend on your development.

Free enhanced learning opportunities

For senior and aspiring staff looking to develop key skills, our Finance Manager Online Pathway is a great place to start. It includes learning on how to handle customer finance discussions more effectively and how to supervise and coach a team. Right now, you can access this additional content through LetsULearn, free and without a subscription.
