Giving customers control of their carbon emissions
Customers are increasingly carbon conscious but not all are ready to purchase an electric vehicle.
We’re collaborating with iOffset to allow customers to offset their carbon emissions from driving.
Helps to expand conversations with your customers around sustainable driving.
The funds help to support high impact projects globally, as well as planting a tree in the UK for every tonne of carbon offset.
As customers become increasingly carbon conscious, they are continuing to look for additional ways to become more sustainable.
While electric and hybrid vehicles are the ultimate goal for many, a large number of customers aren’t able to make the switch immediately. Yet we know this doesn’t stop their appetite for sustainability. So, we want to help customers offset their carbon footprint from their petrol or diesel vehicles.
In collaboration with iOffset, we’re providing a simple and effective way for customers to understand their footprint and pay towards offsetting it.
At a time when electric vehicles are in high demand and low supply, this allows drivers to take control of their sustainability journey in the immediate future and to act now.
How it can help your customer conversations
Currently, not all customers are ready and able to choose an electric vehicle. So, providing a simple and effective offsetting tool helps expand conversations about the options a customer has when purchasing a petrol or diesel vehicle.
Customers are increasingly becoming aware of their carbon footprint and will be looking to experts to help them reduce their impact through everyday decisions.
How customers can sign up
Customers can sign up to iOffset through our new dedicated Green Driving Hub.
On the page, there’s a video that explains what carbon offsetting is, how it works, what they’re signing up to and how it helps to deliver a more sustainable future.
How much it will cost
The cost will vary depending on the customer’s vehicle and usage, they’ll also be given the option to calculate other vehicle emissions for their household.
What benefits it gives
It gives customers a straightforward way to offset their carbon emissions from driving.
Each contribution buys a registered Carbon Credit. These credits are a verified record of one tonne of carbon that has already been absorbed or been prevented by the project that is being supported. The contribution is then put forward to continue the projects work. This could be planting more trees to be converted into Carbon Credits in the future or by generating funds that stop land from being put into other usage e.g. agriculture or timber harvesting.
