The management team of Black Horse Caravan & Motorhome Finance has been boosted further by the appointment of new Senior Manager Paul Williams.
Paul joined the team, which is headed up by Mike Whytock, this month from his previous role as Black Horse Motor Area Director for the Fareham area.
Paul joins the team, which also consists of Regional Sales Managers Ian Martin and Mike Patterson, to serve as the specialist finance firm’s liaison with leisure industry manufacturers.
Paul has more than 20 years’ experience within the motor finance industry and began his career with the company when he joined Chartered Trust in 1991, which was later acquired by LloydsTSB and went on to form Black Horse.
Speaking about his new role, Paul said: “Although I’m new to this market, the same solid principles of dealer finance remain the same. I’ve learned a lot of valuable lessons over the years and I hope to be able to bring some of the successes I’ve had across with me to the leisure market. I’m keen to get out and about as much as possible over the coming months to meet manufacturers and listen to what they have to say.”
Mike Whytock commented: “The structure of the team and ability of the personnel in place is stronger than it’s ever been, with Ian and Mike overseeing the support our sales team provide to our network of dealers, and Paul responsible for developing our relationships with key leisure industry partners.
“Ian and Mike both have around 15 years experience in the leisure market, and Paul brings with him a wealth of experience and best practice from his background in motor. I think we are therefore ideally placed to serve our dealer and manufacturer network like never before.
“As the clear leader in our field, we have a relationship with every single caravan and motorhome dealer in the country, as well as most holiday parks, and we do business with the majority of them. We therefore take our responsibility to support them every step of the way, and at every level, very seriously.”
